DCa is an established architects’ practice based in Olney, Buckinghamshire, conveniently close to Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton.

DCa has gained a reputation for the proactive manner in which we approach our work generally, but particularly where there are design issues to resolve and tight deadlines to be met. The practice is particularly strong in delivering creative but sensitive schemes which give high added value for our clients.

DCa is a specialist in the renovation of Listed Buildings and the sensitive development of Conservation Areas.

In all our work we work closely with client, authorities and interested parties to find solutions which meet our brief, often in an innovative, but always a sensitive and appropriate way. We place considerable emphasis on finding sustainable solutions, particularly in terms of reduced energy consumption, in minimising embedded energy in materials and in reducing waste in the construction process. We follow best practice and work closely with specialist energy consultants to achieve low energy solutions including the use of solar panels, photovoltaic cells, geothermal / ground source energy, green roofs, rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling.
