This 12,000 sq ft (1,115 sq m) industrial building is on the site of a former farmyard and adjacent to a new house which we designed for the owner of the business. The scheme comprises office, training and welfare accommodation and industrial and storage space.

The scheme had to meet exacting commercial requirements, as well as fit comfortably into the rural setting, set in carefully landscaped grounds. The building is part brick (offices, welfare and training) and part portal frame with metal and timber cladding. The combination is carefully blended to create an interesting, appropriate and economical building.

The industrial unit and external areas were extended in 2014 to provide additional work, storage space and external facilities for Pro Align Ltd, who are specialists in wheel alignment equipment.
